The Book of Mormon & The Fountain

Last night my boyfriend Warren and I went to the last performance of the Book of Mormon in Portland, OR.  Before the doors opened, we stopped by this beautiful fountain across the street of the theater.  Although the water isn't safe for drinking, there were many people relaxing, dipping their feet in the water, and even two kids taking a short swim!

The Keller fountain is definitely one of my new favorite relaxing spots in Portland.

The Book of Mormon, from the creators of South Park, was incredible!  Part of me wishes that I could have seen Andrew Rannels as Elder Price, but the entire touring cast of this production was amazing.  My favorite songs were I Believe, Turn it Off, and the famous introduction Hello!

Without a doubt, I would see this again.

I hope everyone had a lovely and fun packed weekend!  I hope this is an indication of a wonderful summer vacation.  After summer school I will be vacationing back home in Hawaii.  Follow me on Bloglovin' to keep up to date with all my summer adventures!

My eBay Store

I've been using eBay to reduce my wardrobe for a few months now and have some new items for sale!  Most of these items have only been worn once or twice.  Please visit my shop to browse my closet and enjoy!

Current items:

Where these sleek leggings by day with a flowy tank or button down.  Bring out your inner Bad Sandy with a bodycon crop tank and heels.  This item is incredibly versatile and super comfy.

Cozy up in this lovely sweater.  The crop length gives a fun yet classic vibe.  Pair with cutoffs for a cool trip to the beach or layer over a maxi dress for effortless cool.

When I saw these heels I immediately felt transported to the chic 1920s.  The gold gives this velvety smooth heel a pop to stand out whether you're at work or on a fabulous date.  (Never worn, new with box.)

These peeptoe cutout booties are perfect for any outfit.  The perforated leather look shows your edgy vibe and the wedge heel offers a ton of support.  (New with box)

This sweater tee is incredibly sweet.  The elasticized waist pulls you in and the soft fabric makes you fall in love.  This light sweater is great for a cool summer or layering for the future winter.

This is the cheapest item in my shop ($2!) but brings a ton of edge.  The rhinestone detailing gives a cool girl vibe.  This button down tank is a staple for summer.

Thanks for checking out my post and visiting my shop!  I will be adding a lot more items this summer when I go back home and clean out my room (mother's orders) so keep this page bookmarked!  I can't wait to share my summer with you.

Two Fourth of July Faves

The 4th of July is tomorrow, when Americans will be celebrating their culture decked out in red, white, and blue.  I've got chosen two festive 4th of July outfits to help you set the mood.  This first look is festively relaxed.  Chill out on the beach or by the BBQ in a blue or red and white striped American Apparel crop, BDG High Rise Cheeky cutoffs, and American Eagle footbed.  Throw this super cute H&M faux white leather cross body purse on to complete the outfit.

H&M cross body clutch
BDG cutoff shorts
American Eagle footbed (more footbed styles to come on my next blog post!)

For a sleeker but still comfy look, trade in the crop top for a faux leather top like this one from Express.  I love pairing bold items with my favorite BDG High Rise Cheeky cutoffs.  Complete the look with black flats like these thrift store steal Sam Edelman flats!  Carry a mini clutch to keep the emphasis on the beautiful faux leather top.  This pouch is from Urban Outfitters circa 2011.

Express (Minus the) Leather top
Carvela Kurt Geiger Mariner flat
Love Moschino red clutch

Create your own looks by shopping the many 4th of July weekend sales, but whatever you wear for this 4th of July weekend, make sure you celebrate with close friends and family.  This holiday really is about remembering the brighter parts of American history.  And what's the best way to remember?  Fireworks!
